Our heart is to extend as much resource as we can to Haiti in order to help bring about better futures for artisans and their families and orphans throughout Haiti. Bull horn originating from the Croix-des-Bouquets area where our apparel is sewn, we are overjoyed to to take part in new opportunities and make these horn piece earrings an addition to our apparel and mission. Not only do these earrings support artisan jobs, they further advance our efforts to positively impact the futures of youth in Haiti.

BULL HORN: Exquisitely handcrafted earrings created with ethically sourced cow horns— a byproduct of the Haitian food industry. Natural horn products are distinct; each piece has its own unique combination of various shades of milk, honey, caramel, and charcoal tones. No two pieces have the exact same colors or pattern.

These horns earrings are responsibly collected by artisans in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and in the Artibonite and Central Plateau Department. These beautiful remnants of bull horn generates employment for the artisans and provision for their families. The process to transform the horn itself uses heat to turn these horn pieces into shapable plates. Once formed, the horn gets its shine through the process of polishing with non-toxic hypoallergenic products, free of harsh chemicals such as ethanol, sealant, or primer.

NIOBIUM: If you have metal sensitivities or are looking for a safe metal to wear for fresh body piercings, niobium is a perfect option. It’s nickel-free and contains no allergens. It’s bio-compatible nature is why this strategic metal is used in surgical implants and for medical devices. It’s especially ideal for those with sensitive ears. Due to its strength, niobium is found in alloys used in industrial applications, like in aircraft engines and oil rigs.
