Fearfully and Downright Wonderfully Made Adult Unisex T-shirt Fundraiser for Down Syndrome Adoption
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14
At On A Mission Apparel, we are overjoyed to help Kelsi and her family as they are fundraising for the adoption of children and infants Down Syndrome with Reese's Rainbow! We encourage you to support their journey in fundraising and through IG: @downrightwonderful <3 Each tee will be helping to raise the necessary funding for families in the adoption process!
This campaign’s proceeds will be going to the Rega-Bretz family who are in the process of adopting a baby boy with Down syndrome from Ukraine. The Rega-Bretz learned that their precious baby Joshua had Down syndrome while Alycia was pregnant in the Fall of 2017. They studied all they could about Down syndrome and lovingly embraced his extra chromosome. Tragically, Joshua passed away from complications post heart surgery at the age of 6 weeks and one day old. As painful as it has been to walk this grief journey and loss of their son, they feel they were given the beautiful gift from God to have their own hearts and minds opened to the beauty of special needs and are now adopting little Noah (seen in the photo descriptions).
An excerpt from Kelsi's blog:
"The world seeks the beautiful, perfect, or “normal”. They are quick to abort, mourn over or throw out anyone they deem inconvenient, less worthy or less able. And these are the very ones that God has chosen to use to free us from these worldly pursuits and teach others in ways that none of those that the world considers “great”, “beautiful”, “rich” or “famous” could ever do.
I am so thankful for what these boys teach us and the love and joy that I get to experience and share because of them daily. I hope that by sharing I can help others to see the beauty in Down syndrome, but more importantly share the message that we are ALL created in the image of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, worthy of life and the sacrificial, unconditional love that God demonstrated for us."
What makes these triblend tees very unique is that each tee will be raising money for Down Syndrome Adoption, but also these tees are fair trade, made of recycled water bottles, organic cotton and modal. Even more, they provide jobs in Haiti to keep families together and provide orphan care and prevention making a full circle in helping families and orphans around the world...because every child matters.
