Handmade journals uniquely bound with faux or goat leather and filled with rustic handmade paper. A one of a kind gift!
Natural variations occur in the genuine leather journals and each is truly unique! Haitians regularly eat goat meat for their Sunday dinner. It is considered respectful to utilize the entire animal and value the life it has given up and given in return. The skin is often used to make drums and other household goods.
From remnants, artisans salvage what they can as well to make these journals. The insheets of the journals are a thick handmade paper sewn in with faux leather straps.
